293 NORTH GARFIELD AVENUE
PASADENA Architect Cyril Bennett designed Pasadena’s Colonial Court in 1915. Registered in the National Register of Historic Places, the court features a variation of the popular Craftsman styling of the era – the Colonial Revival. Back in 2006, the current owner remodeled the kitchen, bathroom, & vaulted the ceiling in the living room. The result is an open floor plan with 2 beds & 1 bath. Highlighting the remodeled kitchen are the concrete countertops designed by artist, Gary Simpson of Common Ground 191. In an effort to showcase that the 191 United Nation member countries had at least one thing in common, Gary collected soil from each country over the course of 11 years. Samples from 156 of those countries are part of the concrete mix that made the counters. Other items are hvac & laundry area. SOLD FOR $527,500 |
